Obesity
| In a recent U.S. study it was found that 25% of all dogs were overweight or obese. This statistic concerns us, because obesity can lead to such serious health problems as diabetes, heart disease, respiratory and skeletal problems. If those few extra pounds you were going to take off your dog this summer didn't come off, here are some suggestions that may help.
Monitoring your dog's weight can be very helpful in designing an effective weight loss program. Weigh-ins are always welcome. For specific weight loss questions or help determining what your pet's ideal weight should be, please don't hesitate to call or stop by. |
